Expanded colour possibilities

Expand your gamut. Reproduce more colours. RasterLink8 supports HiFi Multi-Color ICC profiles, allowing printers equipped with additional colours such as Violet, Orange, Fluorescent Pink and Fluorescent Yellow to reproduce a wider colour gamut than standard four-colour printing.

Fluorescent Color Collection. Make fluorescent colours easier to use. RasterLink8 includes a ready-to-use Fluorescent Color Collection that can be used in Adobe Illustrator® or CorelDRAW® with approximately 60 preset colours. Operators can select a colour and use these or replace Magenta or Yellow in the RIP for fluor colors where you can choose for vector/image and/or text.

Integrated colour management

Match colours across different printers. With Printer Emulation, RasterLink8 can reproduce the colour characteristics of another printer, helping maintain consistent output when replacing or adding equipment. Colour management can be performed directly within RasterLink8, helping simplify colour matching across different printers and production environments.

Beyond RIP processing. Manage your production from one place. RasterLink8 brings production management directly into the RIP workflow. Monitor and manage multiple printers centrally, remotely operate supported printers and manage print schedules — helping operators see what’s happening across production without having to work directly at every machine.

Automatic Camera Alignment

No precise positioning. No JIGs. Less manual setup. RasterLink8 can use a camera to capture the entire print surface in a single shot, automatically recognising the position and shape of each workpiece. Artwork can then be assigned to the correct objects without the tedious manual alignment, jigs and test prints traditionally required.

Simplify your setup: Capture → Recognise → Assign → Print. The system can identify workpiece shapes and quantities and automatically assign the corresponding print data, helping to make object printing more efficient.

Automatic Environment Backup

Protect your RasterLink8 environment. Restore it when you need it. RasterLink8 can automatically back up its environment through PICT integration, with storage options including a shared network folder, OneDrive or Google Drive. The environment can then be restored on another PC when required.
