Mimaki will be attending two important industry events during October 2017. As a partner sponsor at Luxepack Monaco (2-4 October), Mimaki will be showing the ability to print directly on luxury items such as perfume bottles, as well as solutions for producing other types of luxury packaging in Hall Diaghilev, Stand DD2bis. At Print in Progress in Paris (11-12 October), the company (stand E18) will participate in two hubs: Industrial Printer and Textile Transformer.

“These events provide excellent opportunities for us to share unique print and packaging solutions with visitors,” says Ronald van den Broek, General Manager Sales at Mimaki Europe. “At Luxepack, visitors will be able to experience printing directly on luxury cylindrical items like perfume bottles, and create exceptional high-end packaging and prototypes on demand. We will also display examples of 3D objects produced by our newly launched 3D printer, the 3DUJ-553. We believe that this printer will stimulate lots of ideas for prototyping, sample making and more.” Van den Broek continues, “At Print in Progress, participants will be among the first to see two brand new printers that bring ground breaking capabilities to wide format printing for the sign and display graphics market. Next to that, we’ll showcase examples of printing direct to textiles using Mimaki printing solutions. Our experts will be on hand to answer questions and make recommendations based on individual business needs. We look forward to welcoming visitors at both events.”

Luxepack Monaco: Adding value to high-end packaging
Visitors to the Mimaki stand at Luxepack will see:

  • The Mimaki UJF-3042MkII EX, a next-generation UV flatbed printer that offers a unique approach to value-added printing by combining four steps into one, delivering the ability to place primer for strong ink adhesion, two hits of white ink for high print opacity, full colour CMYK printing and a clear print surface treatment, all in one operation. Introduced to the public at FESPA Hamburg in May, this outstanding printer offers the ability to easily produce high-value-added print for a wide variety of applications including perfume bottles and high-end bespoke packaging.
  • Samples showing a fresh approach to 3D printing produced with the Mimaki 3DUJ-553 UV LED printing solution, the world’s first full-colour 3D printer enabling the production of colour-realistic signs, prototypes, parts, products and other 3D printed applications that eliminate the need for time-consuming hand painting of 3D printed objects.

Print in Progress: A wide range of applications
Mimaki will be participating in two hubs at this important event in Paris:

  • In the Industrial Printer hub, Mimaki will show the UJF-3042MkII EX, described above, focusing on packaging and printing on perfume bottles, perfume packaging and packaging samples.
  • In the Textile Transformer hub, Mimaki will be showing a selection of samples created using different textile printing technologies, such as sublimation transfer printing and direct-to-textile printing using various inks, including sublimation and pigment inks.

In addition, the Mimaki stand will feature two brand new printers guaranteed to deliver high quality, high productivity value-added print, along with the UJF-7151plus UV-LED printer, ideal for creating specialty items, novelties, awards, custom pieces and more.

“We are looking forward to participating in these two exciting events,” van den Broek added. “They provide a terrific opportunity to connect with existing customers and to meet new ones, and to share interesting and innovative ideas sure to spark interest among attendees.”
