Great interest for new grand format JV5-320 and new JV33-160 wide format inkjet printers

Amsterdam, June 15th

Mimaki Europe showed many new promising products at this year Fespa’s exhibition. The 260 m2 Mimaki stand displayed a Mimaki record of 15 machines. Visitors were especially drawn to the new JV33-160 inkjet printer and new grand format JV5-320 inkjet printer. The fast JV33 solvent inkjet printer for the entry level market showed impressive printing results. The high interest in the JV5-320 showed that grand format printing for both up-close and distant viewing is a welcome addition to the existing grand format inkjet printers.

The industrial UV printers also generated much attention. People were impressed by the detailed images, printed by the UJF-605CII on small sign objects. Furthermore, the JF series showed its versatility, printing larger sign graphics on the JF-1631 and smaller signs and industrial products on the JF-1610.

A surprisingly high number of visitors showed interest in textile printers. The new JV5 dye sublimation version was one of the printers that responded to their needs, as well as the direct dye sublimation (DS) printer and the textile printers that Mimaki dealer Studio FX showed nearby, in the same Hall.

The new desktop type cutting plotters for sign makers, printing shops, offices and schools showed their accurate cutting capabilities; including the Mimaki original half-cut function. This function allows not only cutting the sheet, but at the same time leaving some connection points for the sticker to remain attached to the sheet.
