UV LED benefits

No media deformation

The new UV LED curing technology does not emit infrared rays thus eliminating thermal deformation of media. Due to its low operation temperature, users have a broader choice of media, including heat sensitive media such as acrylic and styrene panels. This results in the creation of new and exciting applications on up to 50 mm thick substrates.

Faster operation and no drying time

UV LEDs do not need any warm-up time, they can be switched on and off whenever needed. Furthermore, UV LED curing eliminates post-printing drying time necessary when printing with aqueous or solvent inks. This innovation leads to dramatic reduction of job turnaround time (from printing to processing) and increase in productivity.

ECO-friendliness

JFX plus series UV LED curable flatbed inkjet printers are also environmentally friendly. Its UV LEDs have a longer lifetime and save about 2/3 in energy in comparison with conventional UV printers employing metal halide lamps.

Fast printing with post-curing unit

The JFX plus is equipped with a post-curing unit that cures the print after its first exposure by UV LEDs, thus enabling nearly double the speed as previous models. This caters the needs for fast turnarounds, quick changes, and short run orders while increasing productivity and efficiency at the same time.

Ink variation

Hard and flexible UV inks

The LF-200 flexible UV inks feature 200%* elasticity, suitable for media that can be bent. On the other hand, the LH-100 hard UV inks offer high scratch and chemical resistance.

White ink and clear varnish

White ink underprint prevents the transmission of light, resulting in more vivid images, while clear varnish realises astounding and eye-catching effects on your prints!
