Inkjet printers
JV5 Series
The productive JV5 Series can print high-quality images at a very high speed. It takes only 90 seconds to print 1 square meter (10.76sqft) at 540 x 1,080dpi. The secret lies in the 180 x 8 lines of nozzles and an array of 4 staggered print heads. Besides the JV5 solvent version, Mimaki will show a new waterbased version, the JV5A.
Mimaki will also exhibit its ‘benchmark’ solvent printer, JV3 Series.
High quality, grand format, direct digital UV curing inkjet printers; the JF series are designed both for sign making and for various industries to support on demand production. The JF Series can print on a wide variety of substrates. High resolution of 1,200dpi realizes almost photographic image quality. Using the standard white ink, the JF series can print vibrant colors on colored and transparent media. Newly developed clear coating gives a high gloss finish while also improving color fastness.
The UJF-605CII is ideal for a wider range of printing jobs from the creation of samples to full-scale production. The UJF-605CII is the successor of Mimaki’s first UV-curable inkjet printer in 2004, the UJF-605C. The UJF-605CII is equipped with new high speed print heads that enables printing twice as fast as the previous model. Like the JF series the UJF-605CII prints white ink and clear coating, and realizes almost photographic quality at a maximum resolution of 1,200 x 2,400dpi.
UJF-605RII (roll to toll UV industrial printer)
Also for the industrial printing market Mimaki shows the UJF-605RII roll to roll UV curable inkjet printer; a proofing machine for the packaging industry. Since the printer can directly print on soft packaging films, the final products can be simulated before the cylinder will be engraved. With a maximum of 1,200 X 2,400dpi a precise and high quality image is printed. Like the JF Series and UJF-605CII, the white ink prints vibrant colors on colored and transparent substrates.
Cutting plotters
Furthermore, this series - consisting of 3 types of powerful machines (75cm, 130cm and 160cm) – has an important automatic function; the photo-electric eye sensor. This sensor allows precise continuous cutting of your entire roll of media.
Last year Mimaki introduced two desktop type cutting plotters, the CG-60SR, which is the successor of the successful CG-60ST and the CG-60SL. The two desktop type cutting plotters are designed to meet the needs of professionals, corporate offices and stores who are looking for a well-affordable on-demand cutting plotter for small-lot production. Like the CG-FX series, the CG-60SR is equipped with an optical eye for the purpose of cutting preprinted images.
The CF2 Series flat bed cutting plotter is capable of cutting various kinds of media up to 20mm with high accuracy. The machine is suitable for small lot production of various types of thick materials and together with the JF series an ideal print and cut combination.
