Pixartprinting, a highly developed Web to Print Service Provider based in Italy, has the need to print directly onto fabric with high productivity, in line with industry standards.The company, which hosts the most innovative printing solutions available on the market that are consistently being implemented, eventually settled on Mimaki's Tx400-1800D, an inkjet system for printing directly onto fabric at the forefront of today’s technology.

The Shirthouse retail chain is well aware that the market for personalised gits is growing steadily. The chain currently consists of six shops, all based in the western part of Switzerland, and each shop has been equipped with a Mimaki TPC-1000 and heat transfer press. All to provide their customers a wide array of personalised gifts from cushions and coffee mugs to T-shirts and biscuit tins.

Stickerkoning, a large Dutch sticker producer, moves into digital printing of promotional products with Mimaki UJF-3042. Owner Ron Vermeulen explains, "The UJF-3042 not only enables me to print the articles myself, but also to do it quicker. It is not only affordable, but also offers excellent quality, particularly for smaller applications requiring a high degree of precision."

ProVision, a digital printing company based in Amsterdam, the Netherlands, has invested in Mimaki JFX-1631. Co-owner Richard van Dooren said of the acquisition: "The most important considerations for specifically choosing the JFX-1631 were the high photo-quality print... and the ideal dimensions of the flatbed."

Hungarian Soft Press Kft prints 24 hours a day, 6 days a week on the Mimaki JV5-160

Budapest-based company Soft Press Kft understands the meaning of production. Since the start in 2004 the company has produced a stunning 308,000 square metres of solvent prints with the Mimaki JV3 and JV5. Owner Tibor Horváth: “With 5 people we print 24 hours a day, 6 days a week. Volume is for me the key success factor since usually profit does not start before printing hundreds of square metres.”

The family run firm, based since its founding in Alcoletge, near Lleida (Spain), has installed a Mimaki UJV-160 wide format inkjet printer to meet their customers’ demands for high quality print on rigid media.

Eindhoven Sign College at the Forefront with Mimaki Equipment

For two years now the Eindhoven Media School has been offering a sign course as part of its graphic arts curriculum. Next year, the third and final year will commence for students who want to add digital data preparation, working with formats and standards and the use of profiles to their manual instruction package. As their education progresses, students will also increasingly use Mimaki printers and cutting plotters.
